James is one of the most exciting driving talents in Australia. His talent has been recognised by some of the most important and influential people in motorsport.

Starting on pole for an unprecedented three classes at the 2008 Australian National Championships. James  was victorious and became the 2008/2009 Australian Junior Clubman Champion.

James raced a total of 28 races in 2004 in Rookie class and achieved 23 wins.
He won 3 out 5 State Titles and was the most successful Rookie Class Driver in the 2004 Season


THE JUNIOR CLASSES
James’ record breaking results in the 2004 Rookie Class made James seek tougher challenges. After just one season in the Rookie Class, James upgraded to the Junior Class. James became one of the youngest Junior Drivers in Australia at the age of 11.

In 2005, James commenced racing in the Junior National Light Class winning on debut

In 2006, James commenced racing the Premier Junior Class of Junior Clubman and once again winning on debut.  James also commenced racing the World Kart Class of Junior Max. Winning in his 2nd Race in this class collecting the Sydney City Titles and Oran Park track record.

James became the youngest driver to win a Junior Clubman State Title.  He was also the youngest driver to win a Junior Clubman State Title in his first attempt at the Title in the Class.

James was the youngest driver to race in the 2006 Australian Rotax National Titles. He was the 2nd fastest qualifier having never raced the class and set the fastest time of the meeting. Unfortunately, a race incident took James out of contention for the win in the 'Final only counts' race.

2005 Junior Clubman
1st race in class - Lithgow. Fastest Qualifier and 1st. This was the only race James competed in this class in 2005.

JUNIOR ROTAX CLASS - 2006, 2007 and 2008
James’ first race in Junior Rotax Max was at 2006 Rotax Titles and he had only two practice sessions in this class.  James was the youngest driver in the field. He qualified  on the front row of the grid and had the fastest time in the 1st heat and of the meeting. Disaster struck in the final when he was hit off the track while he was in 2nd position. He went from 2nd to last. He worked his way through the large field and finished 6th running out of laps in the wet final.
